Nomafii ("we," "our," or "us") provides a social application for travelers and digital nomads. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, how we share it, how long we retain it, and the choices available to you.
By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have reviewed this Privacy Policy. However, for processing that requires individual permission through your device, operating system, or the app, such as location information, notifications, tracking, advertising identifiers, camera access, photos, or similar permissions, we will obtain the necessary consent or permission where required.
1. Information We Collect

We may collect information necessary to create and manage your account, including:

- Search terms, selected places, and information needed for location search, place search, or map display
We use this information to show relevant people, events, city information, maps, and recommendations.
Nomafii is not designed to continuously track users in real time.
1.4 Activity Information
We may collect information about your activity within the Service, including:
- Events you create
- Events you join
- Event participation status
- Event chat activity
- Direct messages
- Requests, approvals, blocks, and reports
- Travel logs, diary entries, or saved Journey information
- Interactions with recommendations, profiles, and app features
Messages are visible to the recipients of the relevant direct message or to the participants of the relevant event chat.
1.5 Photos and Media
We may collect and store photos or media that you upload, including profile photos and other images you choose to submit.
We may use photos for profile display, safety review, moderation, photo quality checks, and related Service features.
1.6 Age Verification Information
Where age verification is necessary or appropriate for safety, legal compliance, or platform requirements, we may ask you to submit information or documents to confirm that you are 18 years of age or older.
Age verification information may include:
- Document images
- Information extracted or reviewed from such documents
- Verification status
- Review results
- Related audit records or safety records
We may use OCR, automated tools, manual review, or third-party verification technologies to support the age verification process.
Age verification information is used to confirm eligibility, protect users, prevent misuse, respond to disputes, comply with legal obligations, and enforce our Terms of Service.

1.8 Payment and Subscription Information
If you purchase Nomafii Premium or other paid features, payment processing is handled by the applicable platform, app store, payment provider, or subscription management provider.
We do not directly process full payment card details.
We may receive and store subscription status, entitlement status, purchase history, renewal status, cancellation status, trial status, transaction identifiers, platform identifiers, and related metadata necessary to provide paid features and manage access.
1.9 Communications With Us

- The content of your inquiry

- Related account information
- Files or information you choose to provide
We use this information to respond to inquiries, provide support, investigate issues, and improve the Service.
2. How We Use Your Information

Nomafii uses location-related information to support city-based discovery, event recommendations, People recommendations, maps, and safety-related features.
You can manage certain location permissions through your device settings or app settings. If location permissions are disabled, some features may be unavailable or may not function accurately.
To provide map display, place search, nearby search, routes, location-based recommendations, or related features within the Service, location-related information, search terms, selected places, event location information, or information needed for map display may be sent to and processed by external providers that provide maps, location information, or search functionality.
When we share information with these external providers, we do so only to the extent necessary for providing the Service, map display, location search, nearby search, safety features, or related operational purposes.
Location information, event locations, maps, distances, and recommendations may not always be accurate, complete, or current. You are responsible for using such information at your own discretion and risk.
5. Profile Photos and Face Verification Badge
We may review or process profile photos to determine whether they meet photo quality, safety, and profile requirements.
We may use automated tools, on-device processing, manual review, or third-party technologies to help determine whether a profile photo clearly shows a face and is suitable for use within the Service.
The result of this process may be used to approve or reject a profile photo, support safety and moderation, improve profile quality, or display a Face Verification Badge or similar indicator.
A Face Verification Badge only indicates that a face appears to be clearly visible in a profile photo. It does not verify the user’s identity, age, background, real-world existence, trustworthiness, or safety.
You should use your own judgment when interacting with other users, regardless of whether they have a Face Verification Badge.
6. Age Verification
Nomafii is intended for users who are 18 years of age or older.
We may request age verification information where necessary or appropriate to confirm eligibility, comply with legal or platform requirements, respond to safety concerns, prevent misuse, or investigate disputes.
Age verification may involve document submission, OCR, automated review, manual review, third-party verification technology, or a combination of these methods.
Access to age verification information is restricted to authorized personnel or service providers who need access for verification, safety, legal, compliance, or security purposes.
We retain age verification information only for as long as reasonably necessary for verification, re-verification, dispute handling, legal compliance, abuse prevention, and safety purposes, and then delete or de-identify it according to our retention practices.
7. Messages, Events, Reports, and Safety Moderation
Nomafii includes social, messaging, event, and offline interaction features.
We may process messages, event information, profile information, reports, blocks, and related activity information to:
- Provide direct messages and event chats
- Display events and participation status
- Support event creation, joining, cancellation, and management
- Review user reports
- Investigate safety concerns
- Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, spam, harassment, scams, and illegal activity
- Enforce our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines
- Restrict, suspend, or ban accounts where appropriate
- Protect users and maintain the integrity of the Service
We do not review every message or interaction at all times. However, we may access, review, preserve, or disclose relevant information where necessary for safety, support, moderation, legal compliance, or enforcement purposes.

- Profile information and user content are generally retained while your account remains active or until deleted.

- Age verification information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for verification, re-verification, dispute handling, legal compliance, abuse prevention, and safety purposes.
- Safety, moderation, audit, abuse-prevention, and legal records may be retained after account deletion where reasonably necessary.
- Backup copies may remain for a limited period before being deleted according to backup cycles.
13. Account Deletion
You may delete your account from within the app.
When the account deletion process is completed, we will delete or de-identify account information, profile information, and related user content in accordance with our deletion practices.
After account deletion, your profile and related information will promptly stop being displayed in the Service. However, it may take a reasonable period of time for information to be completely deleted or de-identified from our systems, backups, logs, audit records, security records, report and abuse-prevention records, or records that are necessary for legal or safety reasons.
We may retain certain information after account deletion where reasonably necessary for:
- Legal compliance
- Fraud and abuse prevention
- Safety and moderation
- Dispute resolution
- Enforcement of our Terms of Service
- Security and audit purposes
- Backup and disaster recovery

Deleting the app from your device does not delete your account and does not cancel an active subscription.
